These three ink drawings are all preparitory works for illustrations that would appear in The Blue Peter magazine in the 1920s and 30s. I have the magazine cutting with the final image on the right

The pencil sketches below were probably all later reproduced in ink for the magazine. Certainly the first two are because I have the editions in which they appeared and have shown them alongside.
